Tunnel sterilization dryer is a key equipment used in the pharmaceutical, food, and biological products industries for continuous sterilization and drying of glass containers (such as ampoules and penicillin bottles) or metal utensils. Its process principle and technical points are as follows:
1、 Core Process Principles
1. Partition function collaboration
The equipment achieves continuous processing through a three-stage linkage of preheating zone, sterilization zone, and cooling zone
Preheating zone: 60-100 ℃ hot air circulation gradually heats up to avoid glass bottles from bursting due to sudden heat (eliminating thermal stress).
Sterilization area: 300-350 ℃ high-efficiency filtered hot air (through ≥ H13 HEPA filter) penetrates the container, with a microbial killing rate of ≥ 6-log (such as a 99.9999% decrease in bacterial endotoxins).
Cooling zone: Clean cold air (Class A air cleanliness) that has been efficiently filtered is rapidly cooled to 40-50 ℃ to avoid secondary pollution.
2. Thermodynamic sterilization mechanism
Dry heat sterilization: High temperature destroys the structure of microbial proteins/nucleic acids (complementary to wet heat sterilization, suitable for non moisture resistant materials).
Thermal distribution control: The temperature fluctuation in the sterilization section is ≤± 1 ℃, ensuring uniform thermal penetration at all points (verification requires the deployment of ≥ 12 temperature probes).
3. Laminar flow protection design
Vertical/horizontal unidirectional flow (wind speed 0.45 ± 0.1m/s) forms a dynamic air barrier to isolate external pollution.
HEPA filters have a retention rate of ≥ 99.99% for particles ≥ 0.3 μ m.
2、 Core subsystem functions
1. Heating system: Electric heating tubes/U-shaped steam heat exchangers provide high-temperature heat sources, with PID algorithm for precise temperature control.
2. Transmission system: stepless speed regulating mesh belt (made of high-temperature resistant stainless steel 316L) conveying container, with a speed range of 0.1-0.5m/min.
3. Wind pressure balance: exhaust air volume>intake air volume to maintain negative pressure and prevent high-temperature gas from escaping.
4. Online monitoring: Temperature sensors, differential pressure gauges, and anemometers provide real-time feedback data to the PLC (in compliance with GMP data integrity requirements).
3、 Typical application scenarios
1. Production of sterile injections
Ampoules, penicillin bottles, and other dry heat sources were used to remove heat (endotoxin levels decreased to<0.25EU/ml).
Sterilization of freeze-dried powder injection containers (to avoid residual moisture affecting drug stability).
2. Oral liquids and biological products
Sterilize and dry glass oral liquid bottles (to avoid exceeding microbial limits).
Sterilization of vaccine pre filled syringes (inactivating residual bacteria in liposomes).
3. Food and Medical Devices
Dry heat sterilization of metal surgical instruments (high temperature resistant but not moisture resistant instruments).
Sterilization of glass bottles for fruit juice filling (replacing the risk of residual chemical disinfectants).
