The electric heating steam superheater produced by Shanghai Yurong Thermal Energy Institute is a secondary heating equipment installed in the boiler system. Its main function is to further heat the saturated steam generated by the boiler and turn it into superheated steam. Simply put, a steam superheater is a device that heats up steam again.
Working principle and process
Steam source: Saturated steam is generated inside the furnace chamber of the boiler. The temperature and pressure of this type of steam correspond to each other (for example, at a pressure of 1 MPa, the temperature of saturated steam is 180 ℃). At this point, if the heat continues to dissipate, the steam will condense into water, carrying a large amount of small water droplets when transported to the steam end, reducing the dryness of the steam.
Secondary heating: Saturated steam is drawn out from the furnace chamber and enters the steam superheater through the steam pipeline. Saturated water vapor flows through the device, and the unique structural design inside the device allows the steam to undergo counter current heat exchange, transferring a large amount of heat energy to the saturated steam.
Overheated steam: After absorbing heat, the temperature of saturated steam significantly increases while the pressure remains basically unchanged, thus becoming superheated steam. For example, at the same pressure of 1 MPa, steam can be superheated to 300 ℃ or even higher.
