The precautions for using the LG series screw granulator include the following aspects:
Pre startup inspection: Before starting up, it is necessary to check whether the screws are loose or displaced, and ensure that the body screws are tightened or the body position is fixed. At the same time, clean the barrel and screw to ensure that there are no debris residues.
Raw material processing: Ensure that the raw materials are clean and free of impurities, and undergo corresponding processing before being put into production to avoid affecting the smoothness of molding.
Operation parameter control: Control parameters such as extrusion volume and traction speed to ensure the uniformity and quality of particles. Pay close attention to the operating parameters of the equipment, such as temperature, pressure, speed, etc., and adjust them promptly if there are any abnormalities.
Safe operation: Ensure that there are no debris piled up within a safe distance around the machine. During equipment operation, avoid opening the distribution cabinet door, especially when the granulator is not completely stationary, to prevent danger. Avoid directly handling moving parts and blockages in the hopper with hands or iron bars, and handle with caution using plastic bars.
High temperature treatment: After prolonged operation of the twin-screw granulator, the temperature of certain parts will be very high. When operating, be careful not to let the upper body penetrate deep into the bucket to inspect or scrape materials, in order to avoid burns.
Regular inspection and maintenance: Regularly check the insulation effect of electrical wires and circuits, and promptly repair any problems found. Regularly inspect and clean the lubricating oil system, use vibration measuring instruments and infrared thermometers to measure the main motor bearings and form trend charts. If the trend value is exceeded, measure whether the idle current or power value of the main motor exceeds the specified value, and determine whether the bearing should be replaced.
Shutdown operation: Stop feeding and reduce the screw speed after the material in the standby cylinder is emptied. Turn off the main motor and heating system, and clean and maintain the equipment after it has cooled down. Cut off the power and keep records of equipment cleaning and maintenance.
