Process principle and application characteristics of pneumatic vacuum feeder
Date: 2025-09-08Read: 8
Pneumatic vacuum feeder is an industrial equipment that uses compressed air to drive a vacuum generator to generate negative pressure and achieve closed conveying of powder and granular materials. The process principle and application characteristics are as follows:
1、 Process principle
1. Vacuum generation: By driving a vacuum generator (such as a corrugated tube) with compressed air, high-speed airflow is converted into low pressure, creating a vacuum environment at the suction port.
2. Material inhalation: The pressure difference causes the material to mix with air to form a material airflow, which enters the hopper through the suction tube.
3. Gas material separation: Air is discharged through a filter, and the material falls into the silo due to gravity. The filter can prevent dust from entering the vacuum pump.
4. Loop control: The level gauge monitors the amount of material, stops suction when the upper limit is reached, and automatically restarts when the lower limit is reached, achieving continuous conveying.
2、 Application features
1. Sealed and dust-free: The entire process is transported through pipelines to prevent dust pollution and comply with GMP requirements.
2. Modular design: The quick opening clamp connection structure is easy to disassemble and clean, with no residue.
3. Energy saving and efficient: No need for electric vacuum pumps, low energy consumption; The blowback system automatically cleans the filter element to ensure stability.
4. Intelligent control: supports continuous/intermittent working mode, can set discharge time, high degree of automation.
3、 Typical application areas
1. Pharmaceutical/Food: Powder transportation with high hygiene requirements.
2. Chemical/Metallurgical: Processing toxic, harmful or explosive materials.
This device utilizes pneumatic principles and modular design to significantly reduce maintenance costs and environmental pollution risks while ensuring conveying efficiency.
