Flat centrifuge is mainly used for washing and solid-liquid phase separation of suspension media containing solid particles. Today, the editor will introduce the working steps of a flat centrifuge.
1、 Preparation before startup:
1. Before use, the workplace should be cleaned to eliminate work obstacles, and the following parts should be inspected.
2. Rotate the drum by hand without biting or jamming;
3. The bolts in each part should be tightened without any looseness;
4. Check whether the filter bag meets the material dehydration requirements and must not be damaged;
5. Is the rotation direction consistent with the direction indicated on the sign (clockwise when viewed from the top of the centrifuge).
6. The flipping of the casing cover should be flexible and reliable.
7. Check if all connections are correct and reliable.
8. Check if the locking device of the liquid blocking plate is securely locked.
2、 Startup and operation:
1. Connect the power supply, press the start button to control the motor operation, and gradually increase the speed of the centrifuge.
2. When the centrifuge reaches the set feeding speed, open the feeding valve to start feeding, and filter out a portion of the filtrate first. According to the needs, the material can also be added before starting, and the amount of material added can be visually or estimated by the operator based on the centrifuge volume and capacity. After the feeding reaches the limit, close the feeding valve.
3. Raise the centrifuge to its rated speed and further dehydrate the filter cake.
4. After the dehydration is completed, press the stop button to apply the energy brake to the centrifuge until the drum stops rotating (remember not to open the centrifuge casing cover before the centrifuge stops rotating).
5. After the centrifuge stops running, release the locking handle to open the flip cover of the centrifuge shell, and remove the filter cake together with the filter bag.
6. After pouring the filter cake into the material bucket, check if the filter bag is intact and lay it again. Cover the shell flap and lock the handle, and start the second working cycle.
7. After the operation is completed, manual cleaning is required for the material circulation pipeline, reaction kettle, centrifuge drum, inner wall of the outer shell cylinder, and outer wall of the drum.
