The operation steps of the horizontal spiral centrifugal classifier can be divided into three stages: start-up preparation, operation monitoring, and shutdown cleaning, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
1、 Power on operation steps
1. Pre inspection and setting: Before starting up, check the oil level of the equipment lubrication system, the status of the drum oil filling hole, and the smoothness of the pipeline, and confirm the safety of the main and auxiliary motor power wiring; Set the parameters of the main and auxiliary motor frequency converters (such as operating frequency of 47-50Hz, acceleration time of 300-600s), and adjust the position of the overflow plate to control the depth of the liquid pool.
2. Start and preheating: Start the lubrication system oil pump and jog to verify whether the rotation direction of the main motor conforms to the label indication; After the host reaches the rated speed (usually above 3000rpm), add clean water and run for 5-10 minutes to clean the drum. After confirming that there are no abnormalities, close the clean water valve.
3. Gradual feeding: Slowly open the feeding valve and gradually increase the feeding amount to the normal value. It is strictly prohibited to suddenly open the valve significantly; Observe the stability and separation effect of the host operation to ensure that the current does not exceed the rated range.
2、 Key points of operation monitoring
1. Parameter control: When the feeding is normal, the host current should be maintained at 60-80A (or power 35-40kW). If the current rises abnormally, immediately reduce the feeding or inject clean water for regulation to avoid overload operation.
2. Regular inspection: Check the temperature and vibration of the main bearings and differential every half hour, record any abnormalities and handle them promptly; Adjust the feed and dosage in real-time to optimize the separation effect based on the humidity of the solid phase and the clarity of the clear liquid.
3. Safety protection: Overspeed or sudden changes are prohibited during operation, ensuring that all protective circuits (such as oil pump and host interlock) are working properly to prevent equipment imbalance or component damage.
3、 Shutdown cleaning program
1. Material reduction and cleaning: gradually reduce the feed until it completely stops; Open the cleaning valve and rinse the drum with clean water or solvent for 30 minutes. If necessary, reduce the speed (recommended 5-10Hz) and repeat the cleaning 2-3 times, each time for 15 minutes, to ensure that the accumulated material is completely removed.
2. Shutdown operation: Press the main engine shutdown button and turn off the oil pump and auxiliary system after the equipment has completely stopped; When the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, anti freezing measures should be taken to prevent the internal residual liquid from freezing.
Caution: It is strictly prohibited to introduce cleaning solution after shutdown to prevent liquid from seeping into the bearings; Detailed record of downtime and reasons, and conduct equipment status review.
These steps support continuous operation and are suitable for industrial solid-liquid separation scenarios, and must be strictly followed to avoid mechanical failures.
