Precautions for maintenance of horizontal screw centrifuge:
1. The maintenance site must be clean and airtight, especially when replacing bearings and oil seals, to ensure that there is no dust;
2. When two or more centrifuges are under maintenance at the same time, do not exchange parts to avoid damaging dynamic balance or increasing accumulated assembly errors;
3. The screws on the rotating parts cannot be mixed, and it is not allowed to replace them with screws of different materials;
4. Rubber O-ring needs to be coated with oil before assembly;
5. Recommend using a torque wrench to secure the screws;
6. When disassembling and assembling, refer to the drawings and relevant chapters for correct implementation, and use special tools;
7. When parked for a long time, it should be thoroughly doneClean the materials inside the machine, fill each lubrication point with lubricating grease, and run the lubricating oil pump on schedule;
8. The pipe holes connecting the centrifuge and the process pipeline should be sealed with blind plates, especially when one or two centrifuges on the same line stop working. As the other machines are still working, a large amount of steam flows from the dry material outlet of the lower casing to the inside of the drum and screw, causing corrosion of the internal materials and standard parts, thereby reducing the service life.
When carrying out all the above work, do not hit or strike forcefully, and strictly follow the safety operation regulations to prevent damage to the accuracy of machine parts and personal injury. All disassembled parts must be placed in an orderly manner and carefully cleaned and corrected. For severely damaged parts, they must be repaired or replaced. Note that for parts that need to be repaired or replaced, it is best to provide them by the original manufacturer, because inappropriate parts may damage the dynamic balance accuracy of the original machine, cause excessive vibration during machine use, and even prevent it from starting up. If necessary, they need to be returned to the factory for repair. It is recommended to replace all bearings, oil seals, and grease during the major maintenance period.
