The composition of pharmaceutical and chemical wastewater is complex, usually containing residual drug active ingredients, chemical synthesis intermediates, various organic solvents, and high concentrations of salt substances inside. This type of wastewater not only has poor biochemical properties, but some components may also have biological toxicity, making it much more difficult to treat and environmentally friendly than ordinary industrial wastewater. Under hydraulic drive, the elastic diaphragm performs uniform and stable secondary pressing on the sludge inside the chamber. This process greatly improves the dewatering efficiency and can further squeeze and separate the "bound water" inside the sludge particles that is difficult to remove by gravity.

As the pressure filtration cycle ends and the equipment unfolds, it can be observed that the tightly formed and dry surface filter cake automatically falls off. The moisture content of these filter cakes has been deeply reduced, and obvious fracture surfaces can be seen when broken by hand, achieving effective volume reduction. This not only significantly reduces the disposal volume and cost of hazardous solid waste, but also creates favorable conditions for possible thermal energy recovery or safe incineration disposal in the future. At the same time, the filtered liquid separated by squeezing is collected and reintroduced into the more refined deep water treatment system in the factory area for the next stage of purification, striving to achieve the recycling or standard discharge of water resources.
