Titanium rod filters use titanium powder sintered filter cartridges, which are generally used for coarse or intermediate filtration. This filter element has the advantages of high precision, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and high mechanical strength, and is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry. Application of stainless steel titanium rod filter
This filter adopts 304 or 316L stainless steel material as the shell, and the internal filter element is a titanium tube, which has the characteristics of high temperature, high pressure, strong acid, strong alkali, corrosion resistance, and the filter element can be repeatedly regenerated and used. It is a hollow filter tube made by powder metallurgy method to process titanium metal powder without high-temperature sintering. It is widely used in liquid-solid separation in industries such as food, beverage, medicine, chemical, etc., and is particularly suitable for decarbonization filtration in large infusion and injection production lines in the pharmaceutical industry. This series of products has a compact structure, beautiful appearance, and is produced according to GMP standards. Precautions for use
1. Avoid scratches, collisions, dust, and oil stains.
During use, its working pressure should not exceed the rated working pressure.
During normal use, there should be at least 3-5 minutes of low-pressure start-up time, and the relative pressure difference should be controlled below 0.5Mpa. Then gradually adjust the working pressure to the normal requirement (the maximum high pressure should not exceed 0.4Mpa).
After a certain period of operation, this product may experience an increase in pressure and a decrease in flow rate due to clogged filter elements, requiring backwashing or backwashing regeneration. The regeneration cycle depends on the rated pressure and flow rate.
Cleaning method:
After a period of use, the titanium rod filter cartridge will experience a certain degree of blockage, resulting in a decrease in flow rate and an increase in pressure at the front end of the filter, such as from below 0.22mPa to above 0.3mPa. At this point, the filter cartridge needs to be cleaned using the following methods:
For newly used filter cartridges, the method of backwashing with clean water and blowing back with gas is generally used for cleaning, that is, using water slightly higher than the working pressure (such as 0.3mPa) to inject water in the opposite direction for cleaning. The recoil time is about 1-3 minutes.
When the filtration effect does not significantly improve after multiple backwashs, a hydrochloric acid solution of less than 5%, sulfuric acid solution of less than 8%, or NaOH solution of less than 10% can be used to soak at room temperature and then rinse with clean water.
The specific choice of acid washing or alkali washing should be based on whether impurities in the filtrate are easily soluble in acid or alkali.
This filter adopts SUS316L stainless steel as the shell.
