Electrical strength testing, also known as withstand voltage testing. Simply put, any electrical equipment has an insulation level, and the insulation level varies depending on the rated voltage. When a certain voltage level is exceeded, the insulation of the equipment will be broken down. Electrical strength testing is to apply a certain high voltage to the tested equipment (refer to IEC standards or national standards) to see if it will cause breakdown. If it does not break through, it passes; if it breaks through, it indicates that it is unqualified. Usually, this test is conducted before the equipment leaves the factory. On site, it can be done simply by shaking the insulation. In addition, this test is a destructive test and once it breaks down, it cannot be corrected. Electrical strength testing, also known as withstand voltage testing, is the process of examining the characteristics of a coiled insulation material that exhibits conductive properties after being punctured. By querying the changes in electrical parameters, it is determined whether the insulation material has been punctured.
