1Bag FilterInstallation of
1. Firstly, please confirm if the necessary accessories for installing the filtration system are fully prepared.
2. Check the O-ring and O-ring groove. If the O-ring is deformed, scratched or broken, or if there is a problem with the joint of the O-ring, please replace it with a new accessory in a timely manner.
3. Place the filter in the working position, connect the inlet and outlet, and secure it. The jacket type filter is connected to the insulation heat source.
4. Gently place the metal mesh basket into the bag filter, ensuring that the collar of the basket matches the filter.
5. Place the filter bag so that the ring of the filter bag matches the collar of the mesh basket. Secure the filter bag pressure ring. The O-ring should be placed in the O-ring groove and should not be twisted or deformed.
6. Align the upper cover with the filter port, slowly lower it, and naturally press it flat on the sealing ring. Tighten all lifting ring screws diagonally and gradually.
7. Check whether each connecting pipeline is firm and whether the working pressure is within the allowable range.
8. Open the exhaust valve at the top. Slowly open the input valve to allow the liquid to slowly flow into the filter, exhaust the gas inside the cylinder, and allow the liquid to fill the interior of the cylinder, otherwise it will affect the convective flux.
9. To prevent the liquid from suddenly impacting the filter bag and causing it to rupture, the liquid should be slowly allowed to flow into the cylinder first. Then check for leaks. If there are no leaks, you can start filtering. When filtering, the exhaust valve needs to be closed.
10. When using an insulated filter with a jacket, the filter medium should be injected first, followed by the insulation medium; When shutting down and opening the cover, the insulation medium should also be drained first, followed by the filter medium. To avoid excessive pressure difference between the inside and outside, which may cause deformation of the cylinder.
2、 Usage and maintenance
1. Daily use: Under stable liquid input pressure, the filtration quality is closely related to the pressure difference inside the filter bag. If the pressure difference is too large, it indicates that the filter bag aperture has been blocked and the filtration speed has decreased. Therefore, after the filter is working, the pressure difference should be checked regularly. If the pressure difference is too large, the filter bag should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid the filter bag breaking or the supporting filter basket being damaged due to excessive pressure difference. Affects the filtering effect.
2. Correct lid opening: Do not open the lid when the filter is under pressure, otherwise residual liquid may spray out, causing liquid loss or personal injury.
3. Opening operation sequence: ① Close the input valve, and when there is pressure at the outlet, close the output valve. ② Open the exhaust valve, and the staff should not face the exhaust valve to prevent the liquid from causing harm and pollution to personnel and the surrounding environment. ③ Check the pressure gauge and confirm that the internal pressure is 0. At this point, the filter should have been separated from the pipeline system.
④ If there is a drain valve, confirm that the drain valve is connected to the recycling area, open the drain valve, wait for the remaining liquid in the filter to flow out, and then close the drain valve. This emission work can be completed in conjunction with the pressurization method.
⑤ Unscrew the hanging cap on the upper cover and lift it up.
4. Replace the filter bag:
① Filter bags are made of fine fibers and their surface will not be wetted by water. So before using and installing, you must immerse the filter bag in a pre wetting solution that matches the filtered liquid for a few minutes to fully wet it.
② Correctly open the filter cover.
③ Place the upper cover firmly and carefully remove the filter bag.
④ Put in a new filter bag. The rest can refer to the installation process.
5. Pressure discharge of residual liquid: When filtering high viscosity liquids, compressed air can be introduced through the exhaust valve to accelerate the discharge of residual liquid and shorten the waiting time. Please note that the compressed air pressure should not exceed the working pressure of the filter. The steps are as follows: ① Close the input valve. ② Open the intake valve, introduce gas into the filter, and pressurize to exhaust any remaining liquid. ③ Check the outlet pressure gauge and confirm that the gauge pressure is equal to the compressed air pressure. ④ Confirm that there is no liquid discharge from the outlet and close the intake valve. ⑤ Slowly open the exhaust valve. If there is residual liquid discharged from the exhaust valve, it must be directed to a safe position or the filter suction port. ⑥ After the compressed air is exhausted, close the exhaust valve. At this point, there should be no pressure inside the filter and the lid can be opened.
6. Maintenance and replacement of sealing rings: When using, the sealing ring should be aligned with the sealing groove and placed to avoid improper compression that may cause deformation of the sealing ring. When not filtering, the sealing ring must be removed and wiped clean to prevent residual liquid from solidifying and adhering to the surface, causing hardening and poor sealing performance. If the sealing ring is aged or damaged, please replace it in a timely manner. When replacing, choose the same type of sealing ring.
7. Cleaning: If you continue to filter the same liquid, there is no need to clean it. But if filtering other types of liquids, the machine needs to be cleaned before use. When backwashing, sterile water must be used, otherwise it will contaminate the filter. The cleaning process and time interval of filter bags vary depending on the characteristics of the material. The cleaning liquid should not react with the filtered material. You can soak it in clean water for one night first, and use a high-pressure water gun for cleaning the next day. Do not use a brush to scrub, as it will affect the filtration accuracy. The filter bag should not be cleaned countless times, preferably within three times.
8. When the filter is not in use, the filtrate should be drained as much as possible and should not be stored overnight. When the downtime is not long, generally do not open the filter and do not remove the filter element. If the downtime is too long, the filter should be cleaned as much as possible before reuse.
3、 Special Declaration
1. Under normal use, the filter and mesh basket come with a one-year warranty. Damage caused by improper use is not covered by the warranty.
2. When filtering chemical corrosive solvents and high concentration chemicals, the filter and filter bag materials should be carefully selected.
3. The design pressure of the standard bag filter is 0.6Mpa, and the recommended maximum working pressure is 0.8Mpa. Except for special specifications.
4. When ordering, it is necessary to confirm the liquid flow rate, working pressure, filter bag accuracy, inlet and outlet size and method, material temperature, material acidity and alkalinity, etc., and select suitable filters and filter bags.
