The liquid level gauge works based on the principles of buoyancy and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the tested container rises or falls, the float in the main tube of the level gauge also rises or falls accordingly. The magnetic steel inside the float is transmitted to the on-site indicator through magnetic coupling, driving the red and white flip columns to flip 180 °. When the liquid level rises, the flip column changes from white to red, and when the liquid level drops, it changes from red to white. The red and white boundary of the indicator is the actual height of the medium liquid level in the container, thus achieving the indication of the liquid level.

The SURE-UHZ series magnetic flap level gauge (diesel level gauge) uses a magnetic float as the measuring element, a magnetic steel driven flip column display, and does not require energy. Suitable for various environments ranging from low temperature to high temperature, vacuum to high pressure, etc. It is an ideal liquid level measurement product for industries such as petroleum and chemical. The magnetic flap level gauge is equipped with upper and lower limit switches for output, which can achieve remote alarm and limit control. Configure the transmitter to achieve remote indication, detection, and control of liquid level. According to the different installation positions on the container, two methods are provided: side installation and top installation. Difference in lining selection for diesel specific level gauges:
The stainless steel lined anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge adopts a stainless steel body lined with polypropylene (PP) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) technology, which has high structural strength and corrosion resistance, and can be applied to acidic liquids such as hydrochloric acid, alkaline liquids, and organic solvents. But it is not suitable for measuring concentrated nitric acid, chlorine containing solvents, aromatic agents, aliphatic and other medium liquids. There are two types of side mounted anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauges with stainless steel main body lined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and stainless steel lined with polypropylene (PP), which are suitable for measuring corrosive media.
The side mounted lined magnetic flap level gauge (PTFE) is suitable for measuring liquid levels in corrosive media and high operating temperatures. It adopts advanced stainless steel lined PTFE stretching and flanging technology, with reliable structure and long service life. It is the best choice for measuring the liquid level of highly corrosive media such as hydrofluoric acid.
The side mounted lined magnetic flap level gauge (PP) is suitable for measuring inorganic corrosive liquids such as hydrochloric acid and dilute sulfuric acid. Due to the use of imported high-strength materials that can be close to metals, especially the unique insulation properties of PPR, this product is suitable for outdoor water tank level measurement and will not freeze inside in winter But it is not as good in temperature and pressure resistance as PTFE lining, and this product has a higher cost-effectiveness when the temperature and pressure are lower.
2、 Characteristics of diesel specific level gauge:

3. Equipped with a transmitter, remote liquid level indication, detection, and control can be achieved.
3、 Installation and maintenance of diesel specific level gauge
1. The installation must be vertical to ensure that the floating ball component can move freely up and down inside the main tube.
2. No magnetic conductors are allowed to approach the main body, otherwise it will directly affect the correct operation of the liquid level gauge.
3. After installation, it is necessary to calibrate the flip column guide with magnetic steel to display red below zero position and white above zero position.
4. When the liquid level gauge is put into operation, the valve of the lower drainage pipe should be opened first to allow the liquid medium to smoothly enter the main pipe, avoiding the liquid medium from rapidly rising with the floating ball component, which may cause failure and disorderly flipping of the column. If this phenomenon occurs, it can be recalibrated with magnetic steel after the liquid level stabilizes.
5. If your design process involves connecting flanges that are different from our company's model or using other standards, we can supply according to your requirements;
6. The measurement range of the instrument is the center distance between two connecting flanges (excluding top mounted types), where the center of the lower connecting flange is the zero point indicated by the instrument;

4、 Diesel level gauge accessories usage:
1. Magnetic materials are not allowed to approach around the body, and iron wires must not be used firmly, otherwise it will affect the malfunction of the magnetic flap level gauge;
2. If the user uses the heat tracing pipeline themselves, non-magnetic materials such as copper pipes must be selected. The heat tracing temperature is determined according to the medium environment;
3. The diesel level gauge device must be vertical, and a ball valve should be installed between the diesel level gauge and the container inlet pipe for easy inspection and cleaning;
4. The medium should not contain solid impurities or magnetic materials to avoid jamming the float;
5. Before use, use a calibrated magnetic steel to place the small balls below zero position in red and the other balls in white;
6. Close the bottom flange and install the magnetic float (note: the heavy end with the magnetic end is facing upwards and cannot be inverted);
7. The main pipe should be washed irregularly according to the medium environment to eliminate impurities;
9. For diesel level gauges that span a certain length (ordinary type>3 meters, anti-corrosion type>2 meters), it is necessary to add a reinforced flange or ear hook in the middle for firm support.
10. The position of the diesel level gauge should avoid or be far away from the inlet and outlet of the material medium to prevent rapid changes in the local area of the material fluid.
11. When equipped with remote transmission instruments (UB or UK), the following requirements must be met:
a) The remote transmission supporting instruments should be tightly attached to the main conduit and securely fastened with stainless steel clamps (iron is prohibited);
b) The sensing surface on the remote transmission supporting instrument should face and be closely attached to the main pipe;
c) The zero position of the remote transmission supporting instrument should be on the same horizontal line as the zero position indication;
d) The connection between the remote transmission supporting instrument and the performance instrument or industrial control computer should be laid separately through protective pipes or with shielded two core cables;
