Chromium, nickel, cadmium, copper, brass, silver, gold, tin, zinc and other electroplated coatings can be measured on metal or non-metal surfaces.The Coulomb electrolytic film thickness gauge produced by Germany's EPK is mainly aimed at some electroplated parts in the plastic, film and other industries, such as galvanizing, silver plating, copper plating on plastics. GALVANOTEST 2000 can test the thickness of single-layer or multi-layer coatings. Electrolytic film thickness gauge, also known as Coulomb coating thickness gauge.


There are two models of Galvano Test:
GalvanoTest 2000The electrolyte is driven by a pulsating nozzle
GalvanoTest 3000The large amount of electrolyte capacity driven by the circulation pump can be quickly and continuously measured. Suitable for very small parts and measuring gold layers.

The anodic dissolution method, also known as Faraday Coulomb method, works in the electroplating process: a single metal coating is separated from the substrate by the current of the electrolyte.

The Galvano test determines the thickness of the separated coating by measuring current and time.

GALVANOTEST 2000 measurement principle:

Measure according to Faraday's principle. The process is similar to electroplating, but the direction of the electrochemical reaction is opposite, which is electrolytic plating.
