product description

GE's integrated pocket hardness tester DynaPOCKET adopts a wireless integrated design. Based on the principle of rebound, the working mechanism adopts specialized signal processing technology. This device can automatically compensate for the influence of gravity based on the testing direction. Whether on hard or non transportable components, even in places that are difficult for other hardness testers to reach, our products make it easy to conduct on-site hardness testing. The hardness value displayed in numerical form. You can directly read the measured hardness value on a large LCD display. At the same time, the selected hardness scale (HL in this case) and the average value x of the options are displayed. The battery icon can inform you of the current battery charging status. In the setting or configuration mode, you can choose different settings, such as the required hardness scale (SCAL) or material group (MAt). Other setting options: Conversion between single value and average value according to DIN 50150 and ASTM E 140, or customized conversion for instruments.

Typical applications:

DynaPOCKET is suitable for solid workpieces made of steel or casting materials

Coarse grained components with rolled surfaces
Forgings with different surface structures
Various workpieces made of casting materials

Hardness testing of a large number of products during the generation process

Advantage

Pocket sized, cable free design, combining impact equipment and display screen into one

Working according to the principle of Leeb rebound, using special signal processing techniques.

Capable of sensing test direction and automatically compensating for gravity effects

Two key operation, simple and clear
Hardness measurement does not need to be constrained by the direction of impact
The hardness value is directly digitized and displayed on the LCD screen
Capable of displaying individual measurement values as well as average values
There are standard conversion tables available for 9 material groups
Hardness values can be converted between HL, HV, HB, HS HRB, HRC, and N/mm2 hardness standards

Measurement range (varies by material) 150 to 1000 HL75 to 1000 HV, 75 to 700 HB

30 to 100 HS, 35 to 100 HRB, 20 to 70 HRC, 250 to 2200 N/mm2

Measurement accuracy (standard version) is ± 4 HL or 0.5% at 800HL

Suitable for standard batteries (2 x AAA)

DynaPOCKET offers a variety of hardness scales for you to choose from. It may be converted into the following rulers:

The material groups for measuring Leeb (HL), Shaw (HS), Brinell (HB), Rockwell B (HRB), Rockwell C (HRC), Vickers (HV), and tensile strength (N/mm ²) are low alloy/non alloy steel and cast steel. DynaPOCKET can also convert according to standard specifications DIN 50150 and ASTM E 140. The customized conversion table for the instrument is applicable to other materials.

Small and compact device
DynaPOCKET integrates impact devices, display screens, or evaluation devices into one instrument. This means: small size, light weight, and no cables.

Therefore, you will have a very lightweight hardness tester at your disposal, which is suitable for fitting into any pocket,

And accompany you anywhere without any problems.

No matter where you want to work in the testing location, testing position, or testing direction, DynaPOCKET is a suitable instrument.

Simple operation

It goes without saying that we have ensured a simple and direct installation method: with just two keys, all functions can be launched in DynaPOCKET.
DynaPOCKET makes hardness testing particularly fast and easy: connect, measure, and read readings - in just a few seconds!
The hardness value is immediately displayed in numerical form on a large readable LCD monitor.

rebound method

DynaPOCKET operates based on the rebound method, which refers to the impact of an object on the detection surface due to elastic force.
The impact and rebound speeds are measured separately in non-contact mode; Calculate the hardness value based on these two values. The harder the material, the higher the rebound speed and displayed hardness value.
The rebound method provides high accuracy and reproducibility, thus offering extremely high detection stability.

DynaPOCKET is a tool for on-site hardness testing.
Due to its compact size, it can be tested in almost any location, especially in places that are difficult to access due to the geometric structure of the test object.
Heavy, immovable components are also an example of DynaPOCKET, similar to permanently installed system components or machines.

Ease of Use
We can even make it easy for you to calibrate DynaPOCKET:

The standard conversion table for nine material groups has been stored in the instrument, and you can choose the group that is suitable for your application.
You can easily identify the material group through the alphanumeric abbreviations displayed on the instrument

For example, St represents low-alloy/non alloy steel and cast steel, GCI represents gray cast iron, Cu represents malleable copper alloy, and so on.

Technical Parameter

The testing method is based on ASTM standard specification A 956 for rebound hardness testing; Dynamic measurement method; The ratio of rebound (Rp) to impact (Ip) velocity, with a hardness output of HL=1000 Rp/Ip in the Leeb hardness value
Set up a microprocessor controlled rebound hardness tester; Impact device and integrated electronic equipment
Integrated impact device Dyna D (tungsten carbide spherical detection end); The impact energy is about 12 N/mm ², and the diameter tip of the spherical detection end is 3 mm/0.1“
