The main components of a horizontal dryer include a heating device, a feeding device, a supporting wheel device, a drying cylinder, a transmission device, a blocking supporting wheel device, a discharge device, a cyclone separator, and an induced draft fan. 1. Heating device: It can generally be divided into co current and counter current drying. Downstream drying is due to the wet material entering the horizontal dryer equipment and coming into contact with a higher temperature drying medium. In the initial stage, the drying force is greater, and later, as the material temperature increases, the temperature of the drying medium decreases. Therefore, it is suitable for materials that do not require high final moisture content (i.e. drying degree). The discharged dry material has a lower temperature, making it easier to transport. However, in terms of dust generation, fine materials are easily carried away by airflow, resulting in a large amount of dust. Counter current drying has a relatively uniform drying force during the drying process, making it suitable for drying materials with strict requirements. The dust carried by the dry medium is filtered through the wet material area, and the dust content in the airflow is relatively low.
2. Feeding device: It can be divided into single screw feeding and double screw feeding. The single screw feeding is suitable for materials with low viscosity, low moisture content, and easy drying. The double screw feeder is suitable for materials with high moisture content and high viscosity.
3. Wheel support device: made of cast steel, with two identical gears at the front and rear, each consisting of 2 wheels, 4 bearings, and 1 large base. Function: To support the tire belt, rotate the cylinder, and provide radial positioning.
4. Drying cylinder: The cylinder part includes the cylinder and internal devices. The cylinder is a horizontal rotating cylinder made of boiler steel plate rolled and welded. At the feeding end of the cylinder, a blocking ring and a guide plate are installed to prevent material backflow. At the hot end of the cylinder, a heat-resistant protective plate can be installed to protect the cylinder. 7. Discharge device: The discharge method can be divided into three types: axial discharge, radial discharge, and central discharge. ① Axial unloading: The simplest method is to have the material automatically flow out at the lower end of the drum. If you want to maintain a certain thickness of the material inside the cylinder, you can install an annular material blocking ring at the end of the rotary drum. Also make the cylinder end conical. ② Radial discharge: Multiple holes are opened on the cylinder at the discharge end, and the material is discharged from these holes. This valve is used for unloading materials such as cylindrical screens and heat exchange cooling cylinders for cement clinker. ③ Central unloading: At this time, the rotary drum is equipped with 3-4 scoops at the unloading end. After picking up the material, it is poured into the unloading tube located at the center of the drum and discharged.
8. Cyclone separator: A cyclone separator, also known as a centrifugal separator, uses the centrifugal force generated by the rotational motion of a gas flow containing fine powder to separate the fine powder from the gas.
9. Induced draft fan: The induced draft fan is generally arranged at the rear of the drying equipment, and its function is to discharge the exhaust gas from the drying operation The fan is mainly composed of fan blades, louvers, window opening mechanism, motor, pulley, air inlet cover, inner frame, casing, safety net and other components.

After drying, the product is discharged from the lower part of the other end During the drying process, the material is slowly rotated by the cylinder and moves from the higher end to the lower end under the action of gravity. There is a forward copying plate installed on the inner wall of the cylinder, which continuously picks up and sprinkles the material, greatly enhancing the thermal contact surface of the material, improving the drying rate, and promoting the material to move forward. After drying the material with heat carriers (hot air, flue gas), the dust in its narrow strip is collected by a cyclone dust collector and then discharged.

Positive pressure air blowing generates large amounts of dust, causes severe pollution on the production site, and the air ducts are prone to clogging.
9. Design the ball to enter and exit from the low-temperature zone at the tail of the machine, with the coal balls gradually heated from the low-temperature zone and the high-temperature zone to avoid cracking and bursting of coal balls containing 8-10% moisture due to rapid heating after forming, resulting in a low damage rate.
10. Negative pressure induced draft kiln tail air temperature ≤ 100 ℃, low dust content, long service life of induced draft fan, and low operating cost.
