The filter integrity tester is a specialized instrument for testing the integrity of filter cartridges and filters. It can directly detect the bubble point and pressure attenuation value of filter cartridges and membranes, as well as indirectly detect diffusion flow and water immersion values. Integrity testing, as a requirement of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) issued by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States, can be divided into semi-automatic testing equipment and automatic testing equipment.

The integrity tester is fully controlled by a computer, which determines the maximum pore size bubble point pressure of the filter material by measuring the pressure attenuation per unit time under pre fabricated pressure, and can automatically calculate the diffusion flow value of the tested filter material per unit time. Thus, the quality of the filter element can be judged and the integrity of the sterilization filter can be tested to ensure the effective use of the filter element in the production process.
