The AC test voltage of the portable voltage tester is generated by a step-up transformer, and the voltage adjustment is achieved by a voltage regulator. The test current is first sampled by a resistor and then rectified into the corresponding voltage through a diode. One path is sent to the ammeter for indication, and the other path is sent to the microprocessor through an A/D converter for comparison with the leakage current setting value, thereby achieving overcurrent alarm control.
