The principle of LWD horizontal spiral settling centrifuge is that the horizontal spiral settling centrifuge (referred to as the horizontal spiral centrifuge) is a device that uses the centrifugal settling principle to separate suspensions. For various suspensions with solid particle equivalent diameter of 3um, weight concentration ratio of 10% or volume concentration ratio of 70%, and liquid-solid specific gravity difference of 0.05g/cm3, this type of centrifuge is suitable for liquid-solid separation or particle classification.

It uses the principle of centrifugal settling for separation. The suspension enters the drum through the feed pipe and the spiral feeding device. Under the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, solid particles with a higher density deposit on the drum wall. The spiral rotates in the same direction as the drum, but there is a certain speed difference between the two due to the differential. The spiral blades that move relative to the drum continuously scrape off the solid particles deposited on the drum wall and push them out of the slag discharge port. The separated clear liquid flows out of the drum through the liquid layer adjustment plate opening. Thus achieving continuous separation of materials by the centrifuge.
