The M3 direct probe is used to detect simple features that can be directly contacted. Ruby is widely recognized as a tool for measuring needlesIndustry standard materials,It is one of the currently available hard materials, suitable for most applications. Due to adhesive wear, it is not recommended to use ruby measuring needles when scanning aluminum workpieces. The weight of the carbon fiber measuring rod is very light, making it very suitable for applications with strict weight requirements. Tungsten carbide measuring rods have excellent rigidity, especially suitable for measuring needles with smaller measuring balls and rod diameters. The ceramic measuring rod is lightweight but highly rigid, and has excellent collision protection characteristics.Stainless steel measuring rodIt has excellent rigidity and is very suitable for applications that do not require very high weight.In terms of physical properties, silicon nitride is very similar to ruby, and its lower friction coefficient makes it very suitable for most scanning applications, especially when scanning aluminum workpieces. Due to adhesive wear, it is not recommended to use silicon nitride when scanning cast iron workpieces.
