Overview
Stainless steel pipeline filter screen is the core component of pipeline filters, mainly used to intercept solid impurities in fluids, ensure the cleanliness of fluids, and protect downstream equipment.
Product Details

Stainless steel pipeline filter meshmaterial

  • Stainless steel: Common types include 304 and 316L stainless steel, which have good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical strength. They can be used for filtering at temperatures ranging from -200 ℃ to 480 ℃ and in acidic and alkaline environments, and are widely used filter materials.

  • Polypropylene (PP): It has good acid and alkali resistance and is suitable for fluids with weak corrosiveness. It is commonly used in situations where corrosion resistance is required but strength is not high.

  • Wedge shaped steel wire: Made of high-strength wedge-shaped steel wire, it has the characteristics of uniform gaps, high strength, and strong anti clogging ability. It is commonly used in filters that require high-precision filtration and automatic backwashing.

Stainless steel pipeline filter meshtype

  • Woven mesh: made of stainless steel wire, it can provide a filtration accuracy of 10-300 mesh, suitable for intercepting particles of different sizes of impurities, and can meet diverse needs from coarse filtration to fine filtration.

Stainless steel pipeline filter meshfiltration accuracy

The filtration accuracy of a filter is usually expressed in mesh or micrometers. The mesh size refers to the number of holes per inch of the screen. The higher the mesh size, the smaller the pore size, and the higher the filtration accuracy. For example, a 100 mesh filter represents 100 pores per inch of the screen, with a pore size of approximately 0.15mm; while micrometers directly represent the size of the filter pore size, such as a 5-micron filter, which has a pore size of 5 micrometers. The filtration accuracy of pipeline filters can be selected within a wide range according to different working conditions, ranging from a few micrometers to several hundred micrometers.

Stainless steel pipeline filter meshMaintenance and cleaning

When the filter screen traps too many impurities, causing an increase in pressure difference and affecting the efficiency of fluid passage, it is necessary to clean or replace the filter screen. For detachable filters, operators only need to close the inlet and outlet valves of the filter, open the top or side quick opening or flange end caps, and then remove the filter for cleaning. The cleaning method can be manual flushing, ultrasonic cleaning, etc. After cleaning, check whether the filter screen is damaged. If it is damaged, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner.
