Stainless steel quick fit reducer (sanitary grade reducer) is a stainless steel pipe fitting with quick fit chucks at both ends, used to connect pipes of different diameters. It is suitable for clean and industrial fluid systems such as food and medicine, and is easy to install, seal reliably, and disassemble and wash.

The quick installation size head is connected quickly through clamps and sealing rings, used for pipeline diameter transition, adapting to fluid flow/velocity adjustment, equipment interface matching, system branch convergence and other scenarios, ensuring smooth medium transportation and avoiding eddy currents and retention.

3、 Specifications and standards

  • Nominal diameter: DN10~DN150 (corresponding to outer diameter of Φ 12.7~Φ 152.4), common variable diameter combinations such as Φ 19 × 25, Φ 32 × 25, Φ 51 × 38, etc.

  • Execution standards: DIN, ISO, 3A, SMS, IDF, BPE; Chuck sizes such as 50.5mm, 64mm, 89mm, etc. are suitable for corresponding pipe diameters.

  • Pressure/Temperature: Working pressure ≤ 1.6MPa, applicable temperature -20-150 ℃ (depending on material and sealing ring).


4、 Production process

  1. Forming: reducing/expanding diameter pressing (axial pressing of pipe blank), stamping forming (steel plate stretching), large diameter or special variable diameter can be formed multiple times.

  2. Processing: CNC cutting → stamping/pressing → chuck welding → internal and external polishing → acid pickling and passivation → size inspection → pressure resistance testing.

  3. Quality inspection: Dimensional accuracy, surface roughness, pressure resistance, sealing performance, hygiene level must comply with FDA/3A certification.

7、 Key points for installation and selection

  1. Selection matching: Select materials (304/316L), types (concentric/eccentric), and sealing rings according to pipe diameter, pressure, temperature, and medium.

  2. Installation specifications:

    • Clean the chuck and sealing ring to avoid impurities affecting the seal;

    • Insert the sealing ring into the groove, align the clamp and lock it evenly to prevent bias;

    • Install the eccentric small head flat at the bottom to prevent liquid accumulation;

    • System pressure test, check for leaks before use.

  3. Maintenance suggestion: Regularly check the tightness of the clamps and the aging of the sealing rings, and replace them in a timely manner; Avoid scratching the polished surface during cleaning.
