Swing GranulatorA machine that can turn wet powder into particles. This machine uses mechanical transmission to make the drum oscillate back and forth, extruding materials from the sieve into particles. By replacing the sieve with different mesh sizes, particles of different thicknesses can be made. The drum does not need to be disassembled, and the sieve is easy to disassemble and light. The only parts that need to be cleaned in this machine are the granulation chamber, making cleaning very convenient. The particles produced have a low powder content, easy operation, simple control, long service life, and comply with GMP standards.

Feature Overview

The poor flowability of powder can easily cause fragmentation and significant differences in tablet weight, so it is first made into granules before pressing. This type of machine is generally used for granulation in both Chinese and Western medicine because the granules produced by this type of machine have good flowability, uniform tablet weight, and color. This machine can turn wet powder into granules, and can also be used to crush and disperse some fragile, loose, and brittle materials in the form of strips and irregularities, as a pre grinding process. One machine has three functions: granulation, crushing, and fabric distribution, which can achieve the purpose of multi-purpose use.

working principle

It is transmitted mechanically, and under the action of friction, the drum rotates on its own. Powdered materials are discharged from the sieve holes and sent out of the machine under the forward and reverse rotation of the rotating drum. Adjusting the tightness of the sieve and the speed of the drum can to some extent control the particle size and density of the particles.

Scope of application

The granules produced by this machine can be used for granule packaging, capsule production, tablet production, etc., and are suitable for manufacturing various specifications of granules in industries such as medicine, chemical, and food. This machine is only used for particle production and is not suitable for solid fluids, slurries, or grinding.

Machine construction

1. Body

It is an independent rectangular prism composed of three major components: bearing frame, gearbox, and machine base. The feeding hopper is connected to the bearing frame and extends outward from the machine. The front end of the machine base is designed to extend and land smoothly, so it does not need to be installed and can be placed indoors for use at will.

2 Particle manufacturing equipment:

The rotating drum horizontal device is located under the hopper, with bearing supports at the front and rear. It rotates in reverse direction through the transmission of gears. The front bearing seat on the end face is movable. When assembling or disassembling, simply unscrew three screws to sequentially extract the front bearing seat and rotating drum. The two ends of the rotating drum are equipped with symmetrical convex coupling joints, which are not restricted by reverse alignment and are easy to install and remove.

3 Screen clamp tube:

The device is made of steel pipes on both sides of the rotating drum, with a long groove in the middle. The two ends of the screen mesh are embedded in the groove. The screen mesh is wrapped around the outer circle of the rotating drum by rotating the handwheel, which is supported by a spur wheel and can be adjusted in tension.

4 Reduction gearbox:

Adopting worm gear transmission with a speed ratio of 1:30, the machine can be stored in the box to ensure good lubrication and low noise of the gear rod, gear and worm gear. The outer end of the worm gear is equipped with an eccentric rod to drive the gear rod to perform reciprocating motion, and the gear shaft meshing with the gear rod performs reverse rotation motion.

The motor mounting plate is hinged to the machine base, and the other end is hinged to the nut. When the hand wheel of the machine base is rotated, the screw rod is adjusted to rotate, and the nut drives the motor plate up and down to adjust the tension of the V-belt.

operating process

1. Material preparation:

Dry powder should be mixed evenly with an appropriate amount of water. Wet materials can be dried appropriately. If the material is in the form of blocks, it should not be processed.

2. Machine preparation:

Replace the appropriate sieve, adjust the prick wheel in the handwheel to the appropriate position, run the machine for 1-2 minutes without any abnormalities, and then start the machine again.

3. Usage:

Start the machine and pour the mixture into the hopper. The swinging action of the rotating drum squeezes the material through the sieve to form particles, such as crushed blocks, which should be gradually added. It is not advisable to fill them up to avoid excessive pressure and damage to the sieve.
