U-shaped screw conveyorIt is a type of screw conveyor, manufactured according to DIN15261-1986 standard, and designed to comply with the professional standard JB/T7679-2008 "Screw Conveyor". U-shaped screw conveyors are widely used in sectors such as grain, chemical, building materials, metallurgy, mining, and power, mainly for conveying small granular, powdery, and small block materials. Not suitable for conveying materials that are prone to spoilage, have high viscosity, are prone to clumping, and have high moisture content.

2、 Classification (three types)

AClassified by the driving mode of screw conveyor

1. When the length of the U-shaped screw conveyor is less than 35m, it is a single axis driven screw.

2. When the length of the U-shaped screw conveyor is greater than 35m, it is a double axis driven screw.

BDistinguish by the type of intermediate suspension bearing of the screw conveyor

1. M1- is a rolling suspension bearing that uses 80000 type sealed bearings. There is also a dust-proof sealing structure on the shaft cover, which is commonly used in places where oil is not easy to add, does not add oil, or where oil pollutes materials. It has good sealing effect, long suspension shaft life, and conveying material temperature ≤ 80 ℃.

2. M2- is a sliding suspension bearing equipped with dust-proof sealing device, cast copper tiles, alloy wear-resistant cast iron tiles, and copper based graphite low oil lubricating tiles. Commonly used for conveying materials with high temperatures (t ≥ 80 ℃) or materials with high water content.

CClassification by material of screw conveyor

1. Ordinary carbon steel U-shaped screw conveyor - mainly suitable for industries with high wear and tear, such as cement, coal, stone, etc., and no special requirements for materials.

2. Stainless steel U-shaped screw conveyor - mainly suitable for industries such as grain, chemical, and food that require transportation environment. It has high cleanliness and will not pollute materials. It has a long service life, but the cost is relatively high.

IIIProduct advantages and disadvantages

U-shaped screw conveyorSuitable for small-scale operations, stable transportation, and can play a good role in situations where the transportation site is limited. Good sealing performance has great advantages for situations with large dust and environmental requirements, which can avoid the generation of dust during transportation. However, U-shaped screw conveyors are not suitable for long-distance transportation and have a higher cost compared to belt conveyors.
