1、 Preparation before operation
1. Equipment inspection
Confirm that the crusher components are intact (the screen is not damaged, the blades are securely fastened), the bearings are adequately lubricated, and the seals are not aging.
Clean the crushing chamber to ensure no metal debris remains.
2. Material pretreatment
Dried Dendrobium officinale should be thoroughly cleaned to remove sediment and impurities, and dried in the sun with a moisture content controlled between 4% -6%.
Cut the dry product into fragments of ≤ 80 mesh (approximately 0.18mm) to reduce crushing load.
3. Environment settings
Turn on the refrigeration system (water cooling/liquid nitrogen) and pre cool the crushing chamber to 0-10 ℃ to protect the thermosensitive polysaccharides.
2、 Crushing operation process
1. Feeding start
Open the upper cover counterclockwise, add crushed Dendrobium officinale with a single processing capacity of ≤ 250g, seal tightly.
Startup sequence: Start the fan first → classifier → pulverizer, and finally enter the feeding valve.
2. Segmented crushing control
Phase 1: After crushing for 10 seconds, stop for 5 seconds to dissipate heat, and repeat 2-3 times to prevent adhesion.
Main crushing: Adjust the speed of the grading wheel to a fineness of 30000 mesh and continuously crush for 25 minutes (temperature ≤ 10 ℃).
Abnormal monitoring: If the current exceeds the rated value, immediately reduce the material, and if there is abnormal noise, stop the machine for inspection.
3. Discharge and Collection
After the sound of uniform crushing appears, turn off the host and idle for 2 minutes to discharge the remaining materials.
Pour the powder into a sealed container to avoid moisture absorption and clumping.
3、 Key precautions
1. Anti stick cavity treatment
High sugar medicinal herbs require strict segmented operation (crushing for 10 seconds+shutdown for 5 seconds); 5% inert excipients (such as silica) can be added to improve fluidity.
2. Fineness verification standard
Qualified powder: Cell wall breaking rate ≥ 95%, particle size ≤ 75 μ m.
3. Safety regulations
It is strictly prohibited to open the cover or reach into the chamber during operation, and dust masks should be worn for operation.
4、 Cleaning and maintenance
1. Instant cleaning
Wipe the sealing surface with food grade alcohol and blow the filter bag in reverse with compressed air.
2. Regular maintenance
Add 3 # lithium based grease every 200 hours (oil injection amount ≤ 70% of the bearing chamber).
Quarterly inspection: If the aperture of the sieve mesh expands by more than 15%, it should be replaced. If the wear of the impact gear ring is greater than 3mm, it should be scrapped.
Summary of operation points: Low temperature segmented crushing+dynamic control of fineness is the core guarantee for achieving efficient wall breaking of Dendrobium officinale (retaining 42% of total polysaccharides).
