TRACER 5i is a research handheld XRF device newly released by Bruker at the end of 2016, also known as a portable XRF. It is a handheld XRF product released by Bruker following the original Tracer family series. Its performance is comparable to that of commercially available handheld XRFwu methods, and it is favored by major museums in the art, archaeology, appraisal, and restoration industries in Europe and America.

Technical features and advantages:

·TRACER 5i is a handheld XRF design that is suitable for various places; At the same time, there is powerful analysis software with the powerful functionality and accuracy of laboratory level XRF analyzers.

·User adjustable spot: There are two types of collimators with apertures of 3mm and 8mm, which users can replace themselves.

·Users can create/replace filters themselves to enhance the sensitivity of element measurement; Bruker provides tools for making filters.

·Excellent beam quality: proprietary SharpBeam ™ Beam optimization technology with excellent performance even at low power

·A vacuum pump with NASA technology can create a vacuum inside the equipment and in the measured optical path area, enhancing the sensitivity of the equipment to lightweight elements such as Na, Mg, Al, etc. It is suitable for measuring materials such as glass and ceramics; Due to the fact that vacuum is located inside the equipment, it will not cause unnecessary damage to the tested object, such as excavated silk, paper, and other materials. There is a vacuum degree display on the vacuum pump, which is convenient for users to identify.

·The element detection range is from Na (11) to U (92), and F (9) can be detected under extreme conditions (it is a commercially available sensitive portable XRF analyzer). TRACER 5i has specially optimized the design of gas flow channels, which can provide helium (He) blowing or be combined with other gases to assist in analysis.

·Diversity of control: It can be controlled using the built-in PDA interface of the device, or connected to a PC or tablet for control.
