working principle
Double cone rotary vacuum dryer for pharmaceutical raw materialsFor a double conical rotating tank, steam or hot water is introduced into the jacket for heating under vacuum inside the tank. The heat comes into contact with the wet material through the inner wall of the tank, and the water vapor evaporated by the wet material after absorbing heat is extracted by a vacuum pump through a vacuum exhaust pipe. Due to the vacuum state inside the tank and the continuous flipping of the material inside and outside by the rotation of the tank, the drying speed of the material is accelerated, the drying efficiency is improved, and the goal of uniform drying is achieved. The double cone rotary vacuum dryer system mainly consists of a double cone rotary vacuum dryer, condenser, dust collector, vacuum pumping system, heating system, cooling system, electronic control system, etc.


Product Features
(1) During the vacuum drying process, the pressure inside the cylinder is always lower than atmospheric pressure, resulting in fewer gas molecules, lower density, and lower oxygen content. Therefore, it can dry easily oxidized drugs and reduce the chance of material contamination.
(2) Due to the direct proportionality between temperature and vapor pressure during the vaporization process, the moisture content in the material can vaporize at low temperatures during vacuum drying, achieving low-temperature drying, which is particularly suitable for the production of drugs with heat sensitive materials.
(3) Vacuum drying can eliminate the surface hardening phenomenon that is prone to occur during atmospheric hot air drying. This is because there is a large pressure difference between the inside and surface of the vacuum dried material, and under the pressure gradient, moisture quickly moves towards the surface, without surface hardening.
(4) Due to the small temperature gradient between the inside and outside of the material during vacuum drying, the moisture can move and collect independently due to the reverse osmosis effect, effectively overcoming the phenomenon of separation caused by hot air drying.
Adapt to materials
The double cone rotary vacuum dryer is suitable for various materials, mainly including powdered, granular, and fibrous materials. These materials typically have the following characteristics:
1. Heat sensitive materials: Due to the dual cone rotary vacuum dryer working in a vacuum environment, it can dry at lower temperatures, making it particularly suitable for heat sensitive materials such as pharmaceuticals, food, etc.
2. Easily oxidizable, volatile, and toxic materials: These materials are prone to oxidation or volatilization under normal conditions, but can reduce oxidation reactions and prevent the release of toxic gases in a vacuum environment.
3. Materials that require low-temperature drying, such as biochemical products, are prone to loss of activity or deterioration at high temperatures. Vacuum drying can ensure that the drying process is completed at lower temperatures.
4. Materials that do not allow crystallization: Some materials are not allowed to crystallize during the drying process. The double cone rotary vacuum dryer can prevent crystallization by controlling temperature and pressure.
