Working principle of dry granulation machine

According to the basic requirements of the dry granulation process, the equipment adds light powder (free water content<1.5%) into the vertical feeding bin of the granulator, and then goes through several steps such as pre compression degassing, compression molding, sheet crushing, whole granulation, and screening to produce irregular particles with certain particle size distribution and density requirements without adding adhesives or water, completing the physical transformation process from powder to particles.

1. The equipment is horizontally arranged with pressure rollers, and the material is automatically fed into the vertical feeding bin. Under the action of the variable speed screw, the material is evenly sent to the pressure wheel part. The material is then squeezed into sheets by the pressure wheel. The sheet material is crushed into small block materials by the crushing device, and then enters the granulator to granulate the small block materials into particles of different sizes. Finally, according to the customer's needs, the required particles are obtained through a screening machine.
2. The operation during the production process of this machine is controlled by PLC and touch screen, which is simple to operate and the production technical parameters are intuitive and easy to search and record.
3. This machine complies with GMP requirements.
4. The surface of the pressure wheel is treated with gas nitriding to improve its wear resistance and better corrosion resistance.
5. The surface temperature of the pressure roller can be controlled by cooling water to prevent the material from deteriorating and sticking due to heat during the extrusion process.
