Roots slide valve pump vacuum unit modelProduct Introduction
The Roots slide valve vacuum unit is a regular ZJ or ZJP type Roots vacuum pump with a bypass valve. As the ZJ or ZJP type Roots vacuum pump can only be started after the system is pumped to the allowable starting pressure of the Roots vacuum pump by the preceding stage slide valve vacuum pump. Therefore, it is generally necessary to install an electric contact vacuum gauge at the inlet of the unit to control the starting pressure and working pressure range of the Roots vacuum pump. After the current H-150D slide valve vacuum pump is started, pre pumping of the system begins. When the system pressure, i.e. the inlet pressure of the Roots vacuum pump, reaches the pre-set value indicated by the green needle of the electric contact pressure gauge (i.e. the allowable starting pressure value of the Roots pump), the Roots vacuum pump can start working. If the inlet pressure of the Roots vacuum pump is higher than the value indicated by the green needle on the electric contact pressure gauge due to special circumstances when all pumps in the unit are in normal working condition, the Roots vacuum pump will automatically stop, which can achieve automatic overload protection of the Roots vacuum pump and avoid pump failure caused by overload and heat generation.

(2) The rotor has good geometric symmetry, resulting in low vibration and smooth operation. There are gaps between the rotors and between the rotor and the housing, which do not require lubrication and have low friction loss. This can greatly reduce the driving power and achieve higher speeds;

(5) Low compression ratio results in poor hydrogen extraction efficiency;
(6) The surface of the rotor is a complex curved cylindrical surface, which is difficult to process and inspect.
