The environmental monitoring laboratory includes environmental science and environmental engineering laboratories, whose main task is to study the distribution, forms of existence, migration, transformation fate, and environmental effects of pollutants in the environment, and to use physical, chemical, and biological methods and modern engineering technologies for treatment.
Environmental Testing Laboratory
Environmental monitoring is the use of physical, biological, and chemical techniques to quantitatively, qualitatively, and systematically analyze pollutants and their related components in the environment, in order to explore and discuss the rules for changing environmental quality. The mission of an environmental monitoring laboratory is to determine and test the composition of pollutants in environmental samples, and to study the properties, composition, and structure of environmental quality in a certain historical period and space. Through monitoring the environment, the current status and development trends of environmental quality can be accurately, timely, and comprehensively projected, providing scientific basis for environmental management, pollution source monitoring, and environmental planning.
According to the different testing and analysis functions of the monitoring center laboratory, it is mainly divided into five categories: general chemistry laboratory, physics monitoring laboratory, instrument analysis laboratory, clean laboratory (sterile laboratory), and auxiliary laboratory. The general chemistry laboratory mainly conducts experiments such as capacity analysis, ion determination, and oxidation-reduction; The physical monitoring laboratory mainly conducts physical monitoring and analysis experiments; Clean laboratories mainly use human means and clean technology to control indoor air parameters such as dust, bacterial concentration, temperature, humidity, and pressure, in order to achieve the required cleanliness, temperature, humidity, and airflow velocity; The auxiliary laboratory mainly includes a balance room, a high-temperature room, a pure water room, a gas cylinder room, a storage room, etc.
