1、 Overview of Heating Mixing Pot Products

The heating mixing kettle is composed of a tank body, a tank cover, a mixer, a motor reducer, a seal, a jacket (or coil), insulation, etc.

2、 Working principle of heating and stirring kettle:

A heated stirred tank is a type of stirred tank that is heated by passing steam of different pressures through a jacket or coil. Steam heated stirred tanks generally use jacket type, and some also use semi-circular coils or coils inside the tank for heating. Steam heated stirred tanks have the characteristics of fast heating speed and high heating temperature. However, steam heated stirred tanks are pressure vessels, and the working pressure should be controlled within the design pressure range, not exceeding the rated steam pressure. They are generally equipped with safety valves or pressure relief devices, and should not be left on site during use.

3、 Heating and mixing kettle function

Heating stirred tanks have functions such as heating, cooling, insulation, stirring, and metering, and are widely used in industries such as coatings, pharmaceuticals, building materials, chemicals, and food. The jacket can serve both heating and cooling purposes. After steam heating, if cooling is required, a cooling medium can be introduced into the jacket for cooling.

4、 Advantages and disadvantages of heating mixing kettle

Heating and stirring using steam heating is relatively clean, and the higher the steam pressure and temperature, the higher the steam flow rate, and the shorter the heating time. However, steam heating stirred tanks require a steam source, which means they need to be equipped with a steam boiler or steam generator. Moreover, due to being a pressure vessel, the wall thickness of steam heated stirred tanks is generally thicker, resulting in slightly higher costs.
