1、 Usage Description
1. Wheat green tablet press and mint candy tablet press (*) are automatic rotary continuous tablet presses widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, ceramics, food, electronics, plastics, and powder metallurgy.
2. Suitable for compressing various granular raw materials into tablets, but not suitable for pressing semi-solid, moist molecules, and particle free ultra-fine powders.
2、 Working principle and structural characteristics
1. Transmission: Electric motor (stepless speed regulation by frequency converter) → Belt wheel transmission → Worm gear transmission → Rotary table driven by spindle.
2. The production process of this machine includes feeding, filling, pressing, and discharging, which are carried out continuously through four programs
conduct.
3. When the machine is working, the turntable drives 17 sets of stamping dies to rotate clockwise, and the upper and lower stamping dies move up and down along the curved track, and the pressure action is completed through the pressure wheel.
4. The upper and lower pressing wheel device adopts rolling friction, which is conducive to reducing working resistance and reducing power loss.
5. The safety unloading device of the pressure wheel is balanced by a spring on the lower pressure wheel shaft, and its working pressure is adjusted by a spring sleeve. When overpressure occurs, it will automatically unload, which is conducive to pressure stability, reduces impact and vibration, and also protects the punch rod.
6. The adjustment and control mechanisms for filling, thickness, and speed are all centrally controlled, making them easy to operate.
7. This machine adopts a closed oil immersed lubrication worm and worm gear transmission to reduce power loss and extend its service life.
8. The peripheral components of this machine adopt a fully enclosed structure, which separates the sealed compression chamber from the drive mechanism, preventing dust from flying and avoiding cross contamination of oil stains.
9. This machine is equipped with a separate and efficient vacuum cleaning device, which has high vacuum cleaning efficiency and ensures the normal operation of the machine.

4、 Construction Description
1. Upper pressing wheel frame and peripheral sealing device: This device is supported by two circular pillars on the upper half of the machine and the platform, forming a pressing chamber that can resist the compaction reaction force of the pressing wheel on the punching rod during pressing and form a window shaped closed space. When the reaction force borne by the upper pressure wheel is greater than the set working pressure, the torque composed of the eccentricity of the main pressure wheel is greater than the balance torque composed of the compression spring and the lever. The spring will be compressed and the upper pressure wheel will be released to relieve the load, effectively avoiding overpressure damage to the punch rod, so that the operator can check the fault and adjust the working pressure in a timely manner. When adjusting the pressure, it is necessary to open the rear door opposite the operation panel, and then adjust the pre tension force of the spring inside the spring sleeve as needed to achieve the set pressure.
2. The feeding hopper and moon shaped grid feeder are the main feeding devices. When installing the feeder, it should be noted that the gap between its bottom surface and the turntable is 0.03-0.1 millimeters. The adjustment of the hopper and powder amount is done by using two rolling knobs in the upper right part of the working room - rotating the hopper downwards to the right and upwards to adjust the height of the hopper to control the flow of powder. The basis for adjustment is to prevent the accumulated powder inside the feeder from overflowing. After adjustment, the rolling screws on the side should be tightened.
3. Turntable and upper track device: The turntable is the main component of the machine and must rotate clockwise during operation to prevent damage to the lower track caused by the lower punch rod. The upper track device is equivalent to a cylindrical cam, which performs a predetermined upward and downward movement along the flange of the track by punching the groove at the tail during operation.
4. Main body and lower track device: The lower track is a segmented planar cam that causes the lower punch rod to move up and down along it during operation. There is a circular loading and unloading pad for the lower punch at the outlet of the lower track. The lower track of this machine can be directly assembled and disassembled under the main body. The main body is the main component that supports the gravity of the turntable and resists the axial force of the transmission worm gear. This machine adopts the transmission mode of spindle driven turntable, so there are four speed bearings installed in the center hole of the main body. One side of the main body serves as a support for the pressing wheel and is equipped with a thickness adjustment device.
5. Transmission device: This device is mainly driven by a motor through a V-belt to rotate the worm gear, which in turn drives the worm wheel and spindle to rotate, thereby achieving the purpose of rotating the turntable.
6. Electrical device: The power supply of this machine is 380V three-phase four wire system. Please refer to the user manual for the main principles and operating procedures.
5、 Die installation
Before installing the punching die, the left side door of the operating surface should be opened first, and the test wheel should be installed. Then, the working surface of the turntable, the upper and lower punching rod holes, the punching die holes, and the punching die to be installed should be wiped clean, and the installation should be carried out according to the following steps:
1. Installation of stamping die: The fixing screws of the stamping die on the turntable are screwed out one by one to the outer circle of the turntable and leveled to avoid interference between the stamping die and the screw head during installation. The punching die and hole are transitional fit, so the punching die must be placed flat and then pierced through the upper hole with a punching rod, and gently hammered in with a hand hammer. If the punching die hole and the plane are not higher than the working surface of the turntable, it is qualified. Then tighten the screws. If the punching die needs to be replaced or removed, the middle die remover of this machine can be used.
2. Installation of upper punch rod: Flip up the tongue of the upper track, apply some vegetable oil to the tail of the punch rod, and insert them into the turntable one by one. Note that after the head of the punch rod enters the die hole, its up and down movement should be flexible and free. Otherwise, it is necessary to check whether the quality of the die meets the requirements. After the installation of the upper punch rod, the tongue must be turned down.
3. Installation of the lower punch rod: Open the front door in front of the console, remove the cushion block used for loading and unloading the lower punch rod on the main body surface, and then install the lower punch rod. After installation, the cushion block must be restored.
4. After all the stamping dies are installed, turn the test handwheel according to the normal operation of the steering wheel, rotate the turntable clockwise for 1-2 turns, and observe the operation of the up and down punching. There should be no collision or hard friction.
6、 Instructions for use
1. Before use, it is necessary to carefully check the quality of the die, whether there are missing edges, cracks, deformations, and if the tightness does not meet the requirements, and whether the device is complete and in good condition.
2. Check whether the granular raw materials are dry and whether the particle and powder content meet the requirements. If they are not qualified, do not press them hard, otherwise it will affect the normal operation and service life of the machine and the loss of raw materials.
3. The initial test should reduce the filling amount and increase the thickness of the tablets. Rotate the test wheel by hand while adjusting the filling and pressure, gradually increasing until the weight and hardness of the tablets meet the requirements before starting the motor for formal production. (During the production process, it is necessary to regularly inspect the weight of the tablets to ensure that they meet the requirements, and make adjustments if necessary.)
4. When starting up officially, carefully observe whether the rotation direction of the turntable is correct, that is, rotate the turntable in the direction of the numbers. If it is not correct, stop the machine immediately, otherwise it will damage the machine.
5. The choice of speed has a direct impact on the service life of the machine. Due to differences in raw materials and product processes, it cannot be uniformly regulated in use. Therefore, users must determine according to the actual situation. Generally, it can be distinguished based on the size of the tablet diameter and pressure, with larger diameters being slower and smaller ones being faster; Those under high pressure should be slow, while those under low pressure can be fast.
6. Management personnel must be familiar with the technical performance, internal structure, and operating principles of the control mechanism of this machine. The operator shall not leave the work site during the operation of the machine to prevent damage to the machine due to malfunction.
7. During use, always pay attention to whether the machine noise is normal. If there are screams or abnormal noises, stop the machine immediately for inspection and do not use it forcefully.
7、 Mechanical lubrication
1. The oil cup and nozzle of the device on the machine can be filled with butter or engine oil according to the type of oil cup. Before driving, oil should be added once, and lubricating oil can be added midway according to the temperature rise and operation of each bearing.
2. The lubricating oil level inside the worm gear box should be immersed in one worm gear tooth. When adding oil, open the oil filling hole in the worm gear box, and the oil cup on the transmission rod side is the oil filling hole. After six months of use, the lubricating oil should be replaced. When draining the oil, simply unscrew the oil drain bolt at the bottom of the worm gear box.
3. It is advisable to ensure that the amount of oil adsorbed by the felt inside the upper pressure wheel cover does not overflow, in order to lubricate the surface of the pressure wheel. Unscrew the top of the upper pressure wheel cover to add oil to the upper pressure wheel.
4. Lubricate the surface of the punch rod and track with butter, and do not use too much to prevent contamination of the powder.
8、 Maintenance instructions
1. Regularly inspect the components. The inspection items are: whether the worm, bearings, pressure wheels, upper and lower guide rails and other parts are flexible and worn, and if defects are found, they should be repaired in a timely manner.
2. After one use, the remaining powder should be removed and the residual powder in all parts of the machine should be brushed clean. If it is not used for a long time, all the molds must be removed, and the smooth surface of the parts should be coated with anti rust oil and covered with a mask.
3. The punching die should be placed in the oil tank for backup to prevent rust and damage.
4. The environment around the machine must be clean and free from dust, sand, and flying debris.
9、 Installation instructions
1. According to the structural requirements of the machine, the outer packaging wooden box of the machine must be grounded. When the machine is removed from the wooden box base after unloading, it must be lifted by lifting. It is not allowed to use a shovel to shovel the machine bottom plate to prevent deformation and damage to the machine. The machine is equipped with a lifting ring at the top of the upper roller frame for lifting the machine.
2. This machine is equipped with a shock absorber base that can be put into use without being fixed with anchor bolts, but the ground must be flat and level.
3. This machine is powered by a 380V three-phase four wire system. Before starting the motor after connecting the power supply, during trial operation, there must be no molds on the turntable, and the running direction must be clockwise. After confirmation, the molds can be installed for trial production!!!
4. There is a grounding sign and grounding post attached to the lower right side of the electrical box. To ensure the safe operation of the machine, it must be reliably grounded!!!
5. This machine should be installed in a well lit, dry, and clean environment.
6. This machine comes with a powder absorber, and its power supply is plugged into the lower left side of the electrical box. Its direction of rotation has been determined at the factory. If replacing the wires, please pay attention to the motor direction.
10、 Precautions
1. Before using the punching die, it must be strictly inspected to ensure that there are no cracks, deformations, or missing edges. It cannot be used forcefully to avoid damaging the machine.
2. The vibration handle of the powder suction box must be vibrated several times per shift, and its powder storage hopper must be cleaned in a timely manner to prevent blockage of the airflow channel.
3. The feeder and the turntable plane must maintain a certain gap. If the gap is too large, it will cause powder leakage, and if the gap is too small, it will cause friction and scratch the turntable working surface.
4. Non dry materials should not be compressed for use to avoid sticking, flushing, and overpressure.
5. In case of jumping or blocking during operation, do not manually move it to avoid injury accidents.
6. For your safety, please ensure that the equipment is reliably grounded!!!
