chain conveyorIt is a continuous bulk material conveying equipment in a closed pipeline, and its core principle is based on the combination of mechanical pushing of chain plates (or disks) and material mechanical balance, which can achieve horizontal, inclined, vertical, and three-dimensional combined conveying. The specific working principle can be divided into two scenarios: horizontal conveying and vertical conveying:
Horizontal conveying principle:
The motor drives the sprocket to rotate, and the chain drives the disc to move along the inner wall of the pipeline.
When the internal friction between material layers is greater than the external friction between the material and the pipe wall, the material moves forward with the disc, forming a stable continuous flow.
Vertical conveying principle:
The disc exerts upward thrust on the material.
The lower feeding prevents the upper material from sliding down, generating lateral pressure and enhancing the internal friction between material layers.
When the internal friction force is greater than the external friction force between the material and the pipe wall, as well as the self weight of the material, the material is transported upward with the disc, forming a continuous flow.
Core structural foundation:
Closed pipeline: Adopting a circular cross-section, materials such as stainless steel and carbon steel can be selected to constrain material movement and prevent dust leakage.
Transmission system: composed of a motor reducer, an active/passive box, and a sprocket wheel, providing power and driving the chain to circulate.
Conveyor chain: adopts an anchor chain structure (horizontal chain link+vertical chain link), with circular discs fixed on the vertical chain links. The discs are key components for transporting animal materials.
Inlet and outlet: Set according to process requirements, materials enter the pipeline from the inlet and move with the chain to the outlet for discharge.

Preparation before startup:
Check equipment: Ensure that the conveying pipeline is free of cracks and blockages, and that the chain plate and discharge chute are not worn; Confirm that power equipment such as motors and reducers are operating normally; Clean up impurities inside the equipment and ensure that protective equipment is complete.
Parameter setting: Adjust the frequency converter and set the appropriate speed.
Start and Run:
Start in sequence: Start the motor, reducer, and other equipment first, then observe the operation of the chain to ensure stable operation.
Adjust conveying parameters: Adjust the conveying speed and amount as needed. The material conveying amount must be less than or equal to the design conveying amount, otherwise it may cause damage to transmission components such as sprockets and chains.
Operation monitoring: Regularly check the temperature of the motor and reducer to prevent overheating; Check the tension of the chain and adjust it in a timely manner; Keep the equipment clean and lubricate the chain regularly.
Shutdown operation:
Normal shutdown: After the feeding is completed, wait for the pipe chain to run for a period of time until no material is discharged from the material port, and then stop the machine to ensure that there is no residual material in the pipeline as much as possible.
Emergency stop and restart: If there is an emergency stop and restart, it is necessary to jog the machine several times or discharge the material inside the pipe chain machine appropriately before running again.
Maintenance and upkeep:
Daily inspection: Check the tightness of the chain and adjust it in a timely manner; Clean up residual materials in the conveying pipeline.
Regular maintenance: Regularly check the operation status of power equipment such as motors and reducers; Lubricate and replace transmission components such as chains and sprockets.
Fault handling: If any abnormal situation is found (such as increased noise or shaking amplitude), the machine should be stopped immediately to avoid causing greater losses.
Safety operation specifications:
Operator training: Operators must undergo training before taking up their posts and be familiar with the equipment's operating procedures and safety regulations.
It is strictly prohibited to operate the equipment without load or when downstream equipment is turned off: avoid operating the equipment without materials or when downstream equipment has not been started, to prevent equipment damage or safety accidents.
Always remember the principle of safety first: in the operation process, safety should always be prioritized, standardized operating behavior should be followed, and personal safety and equipment integrity should be ensured.
