Introduction to standard round hole sieve

The standard round hole sieve refers to a standard inspection and screening equipment used in the laboratory. The mesh size of the equipment is usually punched with stainless steel plates due to the large mesh size, and the punched holes are round holes. So it was screened according to our stainless steel standard. This series of standard sieves is widely used in industries such as sand and gravel, gravel, pavement base aggregate sieve, asphalt aggregate sieve, slag sieve, urea, and abrasives.

Comparison of advantages between round hole sieve and square hole sieve

Round hole screens are all punching screens, which have high screening accuracy, are not easily worn, have a long service life, but have a low opening rate on the screen surface, generally 50%, a small effective screening area, slow screening speed, and low yield. To solve this problem, the sieve hole can be made into a conical shape with an enlarged bottom, that is, forming a rounded conical hole. In this way, the sieve hole gradually expands from the inlet to the outlet, which is conducive to material sieving. The mesh screen surface is a square hole screen, usually woven, with a high opening rate of up to 70% of the total screen area. It has a large effective screening area, is not easy to block holes, and has a fast screening speed and high yield. However, compared to sieve plates, it has poorer firmness, shorter lifespan, and is prone to deformation. After deformation, the shape and size of some sieve holes will change.
